Centro Hispano's third annual Frederick Hispanic Festival will take place on Saturday October 7, 2023. The festival, put on by Centro Hispano annually, features Hispanic culture, music, art and food. People or organizations interested in attending, volunteering or sponsoring this year's festival can learn more here.

Sewing Classes

We've just kicked off our first sewing class with eight students! Our mission with these classes is to create a skill among participants that can serve as a source of future income and improve their quality of life. 

Prom Dress Collection for Distribution to FCPS Seniors

In collaboration with Frederick County Public Schools, Centro Hispano wraps up a prom dress collection drive. All donated dresses will be distributed to Frederick County families with high school seniors who are unable to purchase dresses due to financial challenges.

Frederick County Immigrant Affairs Commission Town Hall

Centro Hispano hosts a town hall for Frederick County's newly-formed Immigrant Affairs Commission. Public comments accepted in person, via WebEx and Facebook.

Parenting Workshop

Tips for mothers around infant care, including recommended methods for stimulating emotional and sensory development. Workshop includes a diaper giveaway for mothers in need.
